CNC Setter/Operator/Programmer

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:

We are looking for a CNC Setter/Programmer/Operator for a permanent position in Sheffield for an immediate start.

Rate of pay is £18.00 per hour

This position will be using vertical machine centres with Fanuc controls.

Experience of setting, operating & programming is essential.

Responsibilities:
- Set up, programme and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Select the appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job
- Load and unload workpieces into the CNC machine
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
