Serve as a Staff Engineer and Configuration Manager
Assist personnel and provide technical guidance and COR Approval information to meet requirements.
Review, assist, and mentor lower-grade employees work for quality and accuracy.
Perform a wide range of systems engineering services to meet:
Program requirements and objectives.
Interoperability requirements
Configuration management requirements
Ensure compliancy with:
Capabilities analysis
Leadership and Education, Personnel and Facilities (DOTMLPF) efforts
Joint Capability Integration and Development System (JCIDS)
System and/or software integration, platform integration
Interoperability with various Command, Control, and Communications (C3) systems
Technical or operational testing
Sustainment and refreshment of capabilities
Lead configuration management planning and strategy meetings.
Provide general systems engineering, systems implementation planning, and system test and evaluation services.
Prepare specifications, plans, analyses, modeling, testing, simulations and reports.
Review engineering output in the areas of systems level operation and maintenance procedures.
Conduct systems engineering trade-off analysis.
Provide analysis related to the design, development, and integration of hardware/software.
Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science or Related
5+ years of Configuration Management experience
Experience planning, implementing and managing SharePoint tools and staff processes for CM.
Experience writing, maintaining, and training SOPs for CM
Experience providing engineering support to acquisition programs including:
SEP, TEMP, Trade Studies, RFI analyses, CDRL reviews, and DODAAF artifacts
Experience with Risk Management
Knowledge of MIL-STDs, technical aspects of acquisition frameworks and compliance monitoring
Knowledge of Electronic Warfare, RF Theory, or SIGINT (preferred)
IAT level II certified
Required: Active DoD Top-Secret Clearance
