Disrepair Surveyor

Fortus Recruitment are currently representing a local authority who are looking for a Disrepair Surveyor, you will be at the forefront of managing diverse disrepair cases across a varied housing stock.

This is a Temporary role.

Role Duties:

As a pivotal member of the team, you will be responsible for surveying properties, producing comprehensive reports, and ensuring compliance with Building Standards and legal requirements.

Knowledge of contract legislation, including The Housing Conditions Protocol and the Fitness for Human Habitation Act.

Disrepair Surveyor - Essential Skills & Experience Required:

* Looking for someone professionally qualified (RICS) or possessing extensive proven experience in the field. If you have a deep understanding of various builds and the associated challenges, coupled with experience dealing with social housing residents and a track record in surveying different types of housing stock, we want to hear from you.

* Must have a Full UK Driving licence and access to a car.

Disrepair Surveyor - Key Requirements:

* Attention to detail.

* Budget Management skills

* Good Customer Service skills

* Must be an empathetic communicator.
