Weighbridge Operator

Rapier Employment are recruiting for a  Weighbridge Operator  to  work with our client in Balby,Doncaster. Our client is a successful and growing recycling business. 

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following: check weight tolerances for lorries containing scrap metal. Input data on to the internal recycling system, Banks man duties, complete yard reports, sample testing and be able to sort any discrepancies in weight difference. 

Ideal candidate:

Previous experience within a similar role preferred,however full training will be provided
Computer literate, capable of basic file handling and use of email
Professional and effective communication skills with clients and colleagues
Calm under pressure and proactive in solving problems
Reliable, excellent attendance and timekeeping
Willingness to learn and develop
Attention to detail
Administration skills
Contract Type:  Monday-Friday: 2 week rotation 6am-5pm week 1. 11am-8pm week 2

Rate of pay:- £12.00 per hour and goes up to £12.50 if taken on permanently with the company after 12 weeks.
