About the role
This role will provide guidance to FIS business owners on business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing activities in accordance with FIS policy, governance and standards.
About the team
The Continuity Program Office (CPO) is a risk management team responsible for oversight of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning and testing for FIS.  Our team works with management across the company to determine the recovery requirements for FIS products and services and then ensures that adequate testing and recovery strategies are in place to protect FIS operations and staff from disaster events.  
What you will be doing
Reviews business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure continuation and / or restoration of business processes and technology.
Guides business owners to use tools and templates in designing plan development and recovery testing.
Assesses business continuity and disaster recovery planning materials to verify compliance with governance.
Coordinates and monitors disaster recovery testing exercise events to ensure activities progress according to event plans, issues are logged, and status reporting is provided to stakeholders.
Responds at time of disaster and provide support to Crisis Management
What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Disaster Recovery Planner certification desirable.  Typically requires three to five years of experience in business continuity/disaster recovery.
• Knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery planning and validation methodologies
• Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner including presentations to employees and clients at all levels
• Project management skills
• Ability to organize completion of work within tight time frames
• Ability to clearly communicate complex disaster recovery concepts
• Ability to understand and apply learned concepts
• Demonstrated ability to plan and complete work within tight time limitations

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $73,250.00 - $(phone number removed) and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
