A brilliant opportunity for a Senior Azure Engineer who has a strong cloud engineering background to join an industry-leading software house in Milton Keynes to manage and maintain virtualised infrastructure within Azure.

Salary: £65,000 per annum + benefits (depending on your level of
Requirements for Senior Azure Engineer:
* Excellent technical skills
* Confident, friendly, with a desire to offer an excellent customer experience
* Proficiency in managing virtualised infrastructure in the cloud
* Strong commercial experience in cloud computing with a focus on Microsoft Azure
* Good working knowledge of writing, handling, and validating Terraform
* Proficiency with Ansible, including writing and maintaining playbooks
* Cloud security and connectivity (vNET, DNS, firewalls, VPN)
* Understanding of common security issues in a virtualised setting
* Organised with excellent attention-to-detail
* It would be beneficial if you have Microsoft Azure certification and are familiar with other cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP
Responsibilities for Senior Azure Engineer:
* Manage and maintain virtualised infrastructure within Azure
* Develop and implement automation strategies for cloud infrastructure
* Oversee the transition of customer systems from on-premise to cloud-hosted services
* Ensure consistency, robustness, and efficiency in service delivery
* Support the migration process for new customers, including onboarding and integration
* Monitor and optimise performance for approximately 60 hosted customers
* Collaborate with the R&D team to innovate and enhance cloud hosting solutions
* Ensure security and compliance within the cloud environment
* Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices
* Provide technical guidance and support to the team and customers
* Think holistically to make continuous improvements in cloud service offerings
