Lead Quality Inspector

Oxon Park is actively recruiting for a Lead Quality Inspector to join a sub contract precision engineering company located in Wooburn Green, High Wycombe. Our client is UKAS approved to ISO 9001 and offer high accuracy, precision CNC machining of a wide range of components from highly complex to simple parts.

With continuous investment in the latest machining technology allowing them to offer a truly comprehensive engineering service, including: CNC milling, turning and grinding.

Permanent Position, Full Time, Permanent, 40 Hours Per Week (Before Overtime)

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm (Hours can be flexible)

Key Attributes Required:

* Experience of use of Mitutoyo CMM protocol and machines and preferably other CMM packages (Training can be provided)

* Experience using handheld measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers, bore mics, thread gauges, including calibration of this equipment

* Demonstrable experience of understanding and being able to measure parts to drawing specification, being able to understand all tolerances and finishing requirements.

* Use of all inspection equipment including height gauges

* Building accurate dimensional reports for records and customer requirements

* First Article Inspection Report experience

* Internal Rejection of non conforming parts and raising internal rejects

* Inspection of subcontracted work and passing onto further operations

* Final Inspection of parts prior to dispatch, visual and dimensional

* Investigation of customer rejections and RCCA in conjunction with the QM

Preferable experience:

* AS9102 FAIRS

* Aerospace standards

* Contract Review experience

* Use of MRP systems

* Use of QA tools and protocols, ie 8D, 5Y, ISHIKAWA, Problem solving

* Experience of customer quality requirements
