White Horse Employment are working with a leading multi-site business based in the North of Somerset to aid their search for a Group Financial Controller. This will allow you to become a pivotal role within the Head Office and will have you communicating with a wide range of different stakeholders, both internally and externally.
This business has seen significant growth in the last few years across their multiple sites and only look to continue this in the future. They have a heavy emphasis on their people and this role will provide you with great development opportunities. This role provides exposure to the entire finance function, combining the statutory as well as the commercial side of finance into one.
A day-to-day could include:
* Consolidating the monthly group accounts as well as at year-end.
* Preparing the annual budget as well as manage the company's cashflow.
* Prepare weekly KPI reporting for senior management.
* Analyse the processes within the finance function and evaluate ways to improve the efficiency.
* Be the point of contact for the annual external audit.
* Provide financial analysis to Directors and other department heads.
We are looking for someone who is:
* ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified.
* Experienced in managing a team.
* Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
