Role Overview of the Finance Manager:
As the Finance Manager, reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will be integral to our financial operations, providing strategic guidance to senior management.
Duties & Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:
* Oversee the preparation of monthly accounts and deliver essential financial insights to the organization.
* Lead and support the finance team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in their tasks.
* Manage month-end processes, including schedules, journals, and reconciliations.
* Conduct financial reporting and analysis, providing comprehensive explanations and variance analysis.
* Ensure financial stability by managing cash flow and creditor payments.
* Safeguard company resources through fixed asset and stock control oversight.
* Oversee salary processing and weekly payroll activities, maintaining credit control.
* Handle financial processing tasks such as sales ledger, purchase ledger, and expense management.
* Collaborate with departments to effectively manage and track budgets.
* Provide operational support with costing and margin analysis.
* Enhance financial competence within the business to improve decision-making and profitability.
Candidate Requirements:
* ACCA/CIMA/ICAS qualified or actively pursuing these qualifications.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leaders, peers, and team members.
* Proven ability to work independently and lead a motivated finance team.
* Fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ICAS) preferred.
* Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications
