The Service:

The Role:
They are seeking a Senior Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join an esteemed team. You will provide strategic leadership to their multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, contributing to the development and implementation of comprehensive treatment plans.
Your Responsibilities:
Work autonomously as a speech and language therapist within a multidisciplinary team.
Assess how communication impacts daily life and provide targeted interventions.
Collaborate with individuals and their support network to overcome communication barriers.
Develop and implement management plans and rehabilitation strategies as needed.
Provide training to staff and support networks.
Play a key role in service and organizational development initiatives
What We're Looking For:
Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
HCPC registration.
Dysphagia competencies.
Specialist knowledge in Speech and Language Therapy models for Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).
Proficiency in managing complex dysphagia within an adult neurology caseload.
Minimum of 4 years' qualified experience, including complex case management.
