Multiskilled Maintenance Operative

We are looking for a talented and passionate Multi-Skilled Trades-person to join our dynamic team to support the Co-op delivering exceptional reactive maintenance and planned work tasks. With your excellent customer service skills and attention to detail, you will be the face of our company and make a positive impact on Co-op sites and the communities they serve, ensuring that our client is satisfied with our work.
You’ll have a designated geographical area and be responsible for all FM works in Co-ops Food and Funeral Care sites, building relationships with both site and Co-op teams. No two days will be the same, but your dedication to providing exceptional services will remain constant.
What you’ll bring to the table:
Experience in the FM, retail or public building sectors is highly desirable.
A NVQ qualification in a related construction trade is preferred.
A strong commitment to safety and the ability to follow all HSQE protocols as our company values safety above all else.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with clients.
A flexible, proactive and customer-focused approach to your work.
A full UK driving licence, as driving for work is a significant part of the role.
A minimum on-call commitment of one week in every four.
In return, you’ll receive:
A salary package that reflects your skills and experience, within a range of £14.11 to £14.67 per hour.
40 Hour per week contract.
A on-call Standby payment of £75.00 - Any callouts received paid door to door at overtime rate
22 days annual leave + 8 Bank Holidays increasing with service.
