Salary: £12 per hour

About Our Client:

Our client, a leading organisation in the waste industry, is currently seeking two experienced Loading Shovel Operators/Digger Drivers to join their team in Bolton. With a commitment to maximising recycling and recovery, our client operates a range of mobile plant machinery to efficiently process various waste streams.

Responsibilities:

Operate a range of mobile plant machinery as instructed and in line with training
Complete daily assigned work schedule
Carry out daily recorded checks and basic maintenance on machines to keep them in good working order
Load various waste streams and grades in correct bays and processing areas to maximise recycling and recovery
Check incoming loads to ensure compliance with site licence and permitted waste typesEssential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

Experience and competency operating a loading shovel and/or 360° grab, with a willingness to train on other machines
Mobile plant operator card or certificate of basic training is desirable
Previous experience working in the waste industry would be advantageous
Basic knowledge of health and safety requirements in an industrial/processing setting
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume operationDesirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
