Overview:

Bradford Metropolitan District Council is seeking two experienced and dedicated Social Workers Level 3 to join our team on a temporary basis. This position will be based at Sir Henry Mitchell House in Bradford, offering a great opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Case Management: Manage a caseload of children and families with varying levels of need and complexity.

Assessments: Conduct thorough and detailed assessments of children and families to inform care plans and interventions.

Care Plans: Develop, implement, and review care plans to ensure they meet the needs of the children and families.

Child Protection: Work within child protection guidelines to safeguard the welfare of children, including attending and contributing to Child Protection conferences and court proceedings.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to deliver a holistic approach to care and support.

Supervision: Provide support and supervision to less experienced social workers and contribute to the development of best practices within the team.

Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and prepare reports as required.
