Early Years Teaching Assistant
Location: Sunderland, SR1
Salary: £85 - £120 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time
About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Sunderland. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young learners in their early educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons for early years students.
Provide support to individual students or small groups to enhance their learning.
Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and learning strategies.
Assist with the preparation and organisation of learning materials and classroom resources.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role in an educational setting.
A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
