Job Title: Senior CE&I Designer

Location: Warrington, WA3 6GR

Salary:

PAYE: £35.84 per hour
Umbrella: £47.12 per hourContract Length: Until January 2025

Working Arrangement: Hybrid position, 3 days in the office (with flexibility)

Responsibilities:

Produce engineering drawings and designs meeting project specifications and client standards.
Develop layout, diagrams, and schematic designs using AutoCAD.
Integrate design with Aveva E&I software packages and PDMS, including noting and routing.
Develop CE&I installation designs using PDMS, including equipment layout and cable containment.
Check the work of other designers in the team.
Liaise with construction engineers to resolve installation issues and inform them of forthcoming changes.
Follow established BEP procedures for design development and control.
Collaborate with other designers across the project to ensure consistency and share learning.Ideal Candidate:

ONC/D or suitable installation design experience combined with Aveva training and recent active experience.
Ability to develop CE&I designs from conceptual sketches and outline information.
Background and experience in design engineering related to hardware designs and cabling infrastructure.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Aveva E&I (or E3D).
Experience with PDMS Model is desirable.
Working knowledge of CE&I design methods and techniques.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Design Tools/Software:

Essential: Aveva E&I and Cable Systems, AutoCAD, Navisworks, MS Office
