Accountant

Part Qualified Accountant / Qualified Accountant Required to join a leading utilies construction organisation based in St Albans, on a full time, permanent basis.

This Company Accountant position is offering ACCA/Study support for finance candidates who are working towards ACCA/ACA/CIMA.

This is a fast paced busy opportunity for an experienced Accountant with excellent management accounts knowledge, looking to join a dynamic and established finance team offering an excellent remuneration package.

Accountant Position Overview

Working closely with the Head of Finance and supporting the ledger team
Assist in preparing Monthly Management Accounts
Monthly Payroll Spend Analysis
Calculating and Processing Accruals and prepayments
VAT Return Preparation and Submission
Assist in preparation of Budgets and Forecasts
High Spend Reporting, Cost Analysis and Variance Analysis

Accountant Position Requirements

Sage 200 experience is required
Excellent excel knowledge
Management accounts preparation
Have a full license and car
ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified / part qualified - actively studying
Prior experience within utilities, construction, engineering highly advantageous

Accountant Position Remuneration

Up to £45,000
Hybrid working for up to 2 days per week (40%)
Hours 08.00 - 16.00 Monday to Friday
3% pension
Life cover 2x salary
