Warehouse Contract Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Contract Manager to take responsibility of the day-to-day operation for the busy Swindon site.

* Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30pm
* Based in Swindon
Responsibilities & Duties for the Warehouse Contract Manager Role:
* Responsible for the day to day operation, monitoring operational performance and effectiveness, acting where necessary to improve it
* Management of training, performance management and attendance
* Develop and manage long term relationships with customers
* Anticipate future changes in customer requirements, and adjust to maintain effective service levels.
* Identify issues that affect customer service performance and implement strategies for improvement
* Responsible for Health and Safety, ensuring company policies and procedures are followed
* Fosters open communication with employees and other areas of the business to ensure effective team working.
* Performance management - providing direction and feedback
* Manage work schedules and staffing levels
* Manage budgets and operational costs
Key Skills / Experience required for the Warehouse Contract Manager role:
* Minimum 2 years experience working in warehousing / logistics or fulfilment industry
* Strong analytical skills
* Good communication skills
* Results driven
* Problem solving ability
* Stress resistant and flexible
* Ability to work in pressurised environment and to strict deadlines
* Proven leadership skills
