Role: Sheet Metal Fabricator
Location: Coventry, Exhall
Hours of work: 08:00 – 17:30 Monday – Thursday / 08:00 – 15:30 Friday
Rate of pay: £15.00 – £20.00 Per hour
Wentworth James Group are currently seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator on behalf of a HVAC and Air handling unit specialist based in Exhall. You will be responsible for fabricating bespoke projects for customers from Stainless Steel Canopies, Tables, Sinks, HVAC Systems, Air handling units
Duties of the role:
* Fabricating bespoke projects for customers working with Stainless Steel and sheet metal
* Setting up and operating fabrication machinery – Hydraulic presses, Brake Presses, guillotines, saws
* Cut, shape and bend materials using hand and power tools
* Read and interpret drawings
* Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed
* Adhering to health and safety protocols
Candidate Requirements:
* Sheet metal fabrication experience
* Able to set up and operate fabrication machinery
* Experience of welding commercial kitchens – Canopies, sinks, gantries, extractor fans
* Able to follow and interpret drawings
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
