Plasma Operator

We are recruiting for a well established engineering manufacturing company in Brownhills and this is an opportunity to grow and perogress withing a growing company.
Job Role
* To read, understand and correctly complete programme sheets.
* To handle, transport and store component parts as per training and instruction.
* To maintain work equipment and a safe and well organised workstation.
* To complete daily safety checks to ensure machine and work equipment is in good working order.
* Assist in WorkCentre housekeeping and any 5s activities Requirements
* Proven experience as CNC Plasma operator
* Skill in operating CNC plasma machines and understanding of consumables as well as basic measurement tools
* Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and drawings
Experience/Requirements
* Previous working experience in engineering/sheet metal environment is essential
* Good communication skills liaising with other departments.
* Comfortable with manual handling and can adhere to health & Safety regulations
* Ability to work on other machinist around the Shopfloor
The Package
* 10 week temporary to permanent contract.
* Rotating shifts
* Pay rate starting between £12 - £13
* Opportunity to develop in other areas of the shop floor which can then lead to performance bonuses
