Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Construction SR Manager to be based in Oakland, CA.
• Establishes operational objectives and work plans, delegates assignment to subordinate CM firm (PMs, Directors, and engineers).
• Reviews objectives to determine success of operation.
• Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of client/program objectives.
• Implements strategic client/program policies when selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Oversees the administration of projects during the design and construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.
• Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities under individual's direction on a day-to-day basis.
• Responsible for the overall management administration to projects and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
• Provides management and guidance to CM firms (PMs, Directors, and engineers), enforces client and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and CM firms (PMs, Directors, and engineers) at each campus.
• Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through CM firms (PMs, Directors, and engineers).
• Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through design and contract closeout.
