Pipe Welder

Responsibilities
Lay-out, fabricate and weld piping systems on job sites, in accordance with project designs and specifications.
Specialize in welding pipe joints and welding by fabrication, repair, and installation of boilers, pressure vessels, piping, and other components as directed.
Be proficient in the use of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Prepare parts for welding, positioning, and clamping them together to secure in place, and join them using various welding techniques.
Perform welding repairs on piping and other metal components.
Maintain good housekeeping and maintenance, ensuring a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a pipe welding role.
Excellent understanding of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick.
Ability to read and interpret technical plans and blueprints.
Excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work with precision.
Knowledge of safety standards and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management and organizational skills to work efficiently and effectively with team members and job site supervisors.
