Position Details:
Job Title: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN)
Band: 6
Location: Manchester
Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
Schedule: Day shifts
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £25.50 per hour
Your Role as an RMN
As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you'll play a crucial role in supporting patients within their community
Here's what your day might look like:
Community Visits: Conduct regular visits to patients, ensuring their needs are met and providing essential support.
Medication Administration: Administer medications on a set schedule to manage and treat patients' conditions.
Patient Interaction: Engage with patients to understand their conditions, monitor progress, and offer effective support.
Risk Assessments: Perform necessary risk assessments to ensure patient safety and create a secure environment for their treatment.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Active NMC Registration: Must be a registered mental health nurse.
Community Experience: Proven experience in a community setting.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and work well under pressure.
Team and Solo Work: Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to Care: Dedicated to providing the highest quality of care for patients.
