We are currently looking for an electrical and mechanical maintenance engineer to support a well-established manufacturing company based in Telford. You will be working a static afternoon shift for this role.
You will use your skills to achieve business objectives, you will react to engineering, quality, and safety issues as they arise and utilise your knowledge.
Your role will involve the reporting and recording of maintenance and repair details for all work activities, using appropriate maintenance management and IT systems.
For this role you must have:
* To undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and industry standard practices
* Diagnosis of Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / PLC / PC faults and subsequent repairs
* To comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times
* To accurately record all work undertaken
* Involvement in continuous improvement activities
* To ensure on-site spares are kept to optimum levels
* Qualified with 18th edition IEE qualifications, BTEC ONC/HNC level or equivalent.
