Import Coordinator

£25,000 to £27,000 per annum, Permanent, Mon-Fri 40 hours per week, BS32 Bradley Stoke, Bristol, Enhanced Holidays, Pension, Parking, Life Insurance plus more

This Global freight Forwarder are seeking a import coordinator to join their Air and Sea freight team due to expansion within the business. It would see you working with the full support of experienced team members and you will receive full training along the way. Working within a team spirited, ever expanding team - this will see you develop and will offer rewards along the way.

The import coordinator role will see you carry out duties such as :

Monitoring international freight shipments from inception to delivery, guaranteeing adherence to service level and operational protocols
Operate Customer Service based on day-today operations.
Monitoring Data Quality and Live Updates
Issuing documentation including master bills, house bills of lading and ensuring compliance with import/export customs regulations
Communicating with our extensive network and carrier partners across the globe
Updating customers and swiftly resolving exceptions, exemplifying our commitment to great customer experiences
Nurturing revenue streams in alignment with budgetary targets, handling quotations, invoicing, and supplier purchase orders
Ensure legislative compliance in all areas

This air and sea import coordinators role will have a need for the successful candidate to hold knowledge of air/ sea freight, excellent customer services experiences, a proactive individual who can problem solve, have strong administration skills and be a key team player. This would be an ideal role for someone who has worked as a Freight Forwarder, Freight Coordinator or import coordinator.
