As a result of our clients expansion plans, and continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Business Analyst to be based at a Head Office in Plymouth.
About the Role:
* Using SQL, excel and Power BI to analyse data and sales performance.
* Analysing sales performance.
* Analysing promotional activity and tracking profitability.
* Analysing large volumes of diverse data, providing actionable insights.
* Providing meaningful reports to the Head of Department.
* Analyse pricing to ensure profitability / price elasticity.
* Communicating insights and results at different levels to diverse audiences within the company.
* Conducting investigations into identified areas of concern.
* Adhoc analysis and data gathering.
* Presenting findings to stakeholders, department manager and head of department.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Experience with SQL – desirable.
* Experience working with data.
* Previous experience working in an analytical role.
* Understand data and how performance is measured.
* Proactive time management.
* A strong commercial awareness.
* Self-starter, motivated and enthusiastic.
* You must be a Team player.
* Demonstratable analytical skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
* Problem solver.
* Experience with Python – desirable but not essential.
