Adult Social Worker, £32.99ph, Locality, Rotherham
Pertemps are recruiting for a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join the Adult Social Care Locality Project Team.
The role is as part of a focused project team in which the postholder will ensure adults are assessed/ review in a timely manner, that safeguarding concerns progress within timescale, and support secured with the minimum delay. The postholder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned cases, intervening with legal and procedural authority, including under making safeguarding personal principals to protect vulnerable people at risk of abuse or neglect.
Requirements:
Experience of working with older adults and/or adults experiencing the impact of physical, cognitive, or learning disabilities
Experience of working in community based/ locality based adult social work teams.
Experience of undertaking care Act assessment, support planning, Mental Capacity Assessments and making best interests’ decisions where needed and able to work at pace.
Experience of working within safeguarding policy and procedures, understand the legal remit of safeguarding under the Care Act, be able to carry out Section 42 enquiries.
Able to undertake home visits as needed and can travel independently to and around the Rotherham BoroughThere is the opportunity for hybrid working (a mix of home and office-based working).
