Purosearch is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Children's Home Manager for a small service in Rotherham. This role supports children and young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours, offering a competitive salary range of £50,000 to £60,000, with potential earnings up to £65,000. The Home is based in Sheffield's neighbouring town, Rotherham, is known for its rich history and vibrant community. Rotherham boasts excellent transport links, including a comprehensive bus network, easy access to the M1 motorway, and convenient rail connections to Sheffield, Doncaster, and other major cities.

Job Responsibilities:
•Establishing and developing a new children's service
•Managing and fostering team development and cohesion
•Setting and reviewing targets and objectives for the staff team
•Promoting partnership-based practices with young people and their families
•Ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and well-being for the children

Ideal Candidate:
•Minimum of two years' experience in staff supervision
•At least two years' relevant experience in residential care of children, preferably as a Deputy Manager
•Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
•Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare
•Full driving license essential
•Ability to provide consistent care and support to young people
•Experience working with children displaying challenging behaviour
•Flexibility in scheduling, able to cover when required
