Our client is looking to hire a TEST TECHNICIAN within there Production team. Your job is to work as part of our highly skilled, friendly and customer focussed Production team to test our filters which protect and connect people around the world. This is a shift based role working earlies and lates on alternate weeks.
Experience:
* Previous work-experience in the following:
* Team environment – working as, communicating within & contributing to.
* Working under own initiative.
* Working to & consistently following procedures.
* High attention to detail, quality and right first time ethos.
* Fault finding/problem solving.
* Hand/eye dexterity
* Methodical, patient approach to work.
* Willing to learn and develop knowledge skills & experience
Desireble Experience
* Use of microscopes, analysers, small hand tools, scalpels.
Building circuit boards, building PCs, model making, taking items apart and putting them back together again.
Knowledge of RF/transmission line theory.
Reading and applying data.
Reading and applying diagrams.
Skils:
* Confident and organised and wanting to learn our processes, how they work and what you’ll need to do to achieve the right standard.
* Patient and methodical in putting things together and when necessary, tinkering/adjusting them to get the right result.
* Someone who enjoys problem solving, finding faults and suggesting solutions.
* Experience of working in an engineering or manufacturing environment, meaning you can work to exacting standards and design.
* Have a high attention to detail, combined with a passion for tidiness in your work area!
* Enjoy making positive teamwork contributions to our highly motivated Production teams, delivering continuous improvement and meeting targets.
